Terms of Service

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Blurt ("the app", "the service"), you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use Blurt

Blurt is not available to anyone under 13; we block sign-up for any user who states they are under 13. Users aged 13 to 17 get a version of the app with limited features: no anonymous replies and a pre-moderated discovery feed. These restrictions are applied using age signals from Apple and Google, in addition to the age the user declares at sign-up.

If you are the parent or guardian of a minor who uses Blurt, you can contact us at blurt.today@gmail.com with questions about their account.

3. Your account

4. How Blurt works

Every day, Blurt sends the same question to all users. Your feed stays blurred until you answer the daily question (the "blur wall"). You can answer with a photo, video, or text. Reactions and up to 3 anonymous replies per week are part of the product — see section 7 for what "anonymous" means on Blurt.

5. Prohibited conduct

Among other things, the following is not allowed:

We use automated content checks (including hash matching against known child-exploitation databases) and report to the appropriate authorities (such as NCMEC) when the law requires it.

6. Moderation and accounts

Content rules are detailed in our Community Guidelines. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice when the situation warrants it (for example, to protect minors). You can report content or accounts inside the app or by writing to us at blurt.today@gmail.com.

7. About "anonymous" replies

When you use an anonymous reply, your identity is not shown to other users. This does not mean anonymity from Blurt: internally we keep the link between your account and your activity so we can moderate content, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

8. Content you post

You keep the rights to the content you post. By posting it on Blurt, you give us a license to display it inside the app to other users, according to the product's visibility rules (blur wall, feed, profile). We do not sell your content to third parties.

9. Blurt's property

The "Blurt" name, the logo, and the app's design are the property of Roberto Carlos Agreda Ramírez, operating as an individual until a legal entity is formed. You may not use them without written permission.

10. No warranties

Blurt is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the service will be free of errors or interruptions.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roberto Carlos Agreda Ramírez will not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of Blurt.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will let you know inside the app or by email.
